Dekalb Rescue #1 - This is a 2004 Alexis non walk-in rescue, which carries equipment for rope and confined space rescues. Some other feture are a 6-bottle 6000 psi cascade system, a Wilburt light tower, a 5 piece Amkus hydraulic tool set with twin 100' reels, RIT tools, ventilation fans, ample cribbing, and many other firefighting tools.

Dekalb Rescue #6 - This is the main tool chest for the team. The tractor is a 1979 Ford 8000 Diesel, the trailer is an 1985 Hesse 18 bay beverage trailer. This unit carries the ITTF / MABAS equipment cache issued to Division VI. The unit also carries some Finform, ladders, other construction tools, other dimentional lubber for shoring, plus many other items. We have an onboard generator and air compressor, in adition to the portable ones issued to the division.
This Picture is from a training drill conducted in 2006 at the Cherry Valley Fire Department Regional Training Center. This drill was a 24 hour long TRT drill conducted with teams from MABAS Division's 6, 8, 17, and 104. Funding was provided by the MABAS Executive board, and the member departments. These are photos of a grain bin rescue that Division 6 TRT was activated for on
April 25, 2007. We were requested by MABAS Division 25 to respond to theCity Of Mendota. They had a worker at a grain elevator stuck in corn up to his neck. Units from the Mendota Fire Department, MABAS Division 25 TRT, MABAS Division 6 TRT, and North Aurora Fire Department TRT worked for appromimitly 4 hours to free the worker, at which time he was airlifted to a Rockford hospital.
